Big news, big changes as we begin our 10th year!
Ship Shape Hair Design & Serenity Spa Timeline

- 1999 – Opened the doors of Ship Shape Hair Design
- 2002 – We expanded into Ship Shape Hair Design and Serenity Spa and doubled our space, adding a multitude of skin and luxury spa services
- 2004 – Partnered with Bumble and bumble, elevating our product offerings and the education of our stylists with access to Bumble and bumble University in NYC.
- 2006 – Partnered with Dermalogica, the leading innovation in skin care technology
- 2008 – Coming in July we plan to relocate to 13 W. King Street, with the opening of:
the studio salon
hair and skin studio
As we enter into our 10th year, we’ve decided to make some exciting changes. At our new location we will primarily focus on hair and skin care. We will no longer offer nail services, tanning or massage, as there are many local establishments that offer these services. We will be more than happy to recommend a place to accommodate your nail, tanning or massage needs.
We are excited to be a positive presence in the revitalization of our down town area. Our goal with these changes is to continue to provide the highest quality service and expert knowledge related to hair and skin care, in a fun, upbeat atmosphere.
We will be open for business in our new location on July 1st. All scheduled appointments will remain as scheduled but offered at our new location. We do ask that if you hold a gift certificate that you would like to use for Massage Therapy or Day of Beauty, please use it by June 28th. Any gift certificates redeemed after June 28th, will be honored for products or services that are offered at our new location. All tanning sessions must also be used by June 28th.
